Welcome to Broomhilda’s Bakery Contests!

Halloween Contest

Welcome to Broomhilda’s Bakery, where every ghoul-friend is welcome!

We are not waiting for Halloween to celebrate everyone’s progress on their Broomhilda quilts! Here at Kimberbell we have loved watching all of your quilts come together. It has been fun for us to sample your Boo-Berry Pie and Rice Creepy Treats. We have loved all your extraordinary embellishments like Mylar candy corns, flowers, eyeballs, fuzzy fringed spiders, and SO MUCH MORE!

From our  “What’s in Your Jar?” contest you have shared what creepy, creative things you have stitched inside your vinyl apothecary jars from your Broomhilda quilt or the bonus projects, like the Broomhilda wall hanging. Thank you for participating!

We have loved seeing all your images and look forward to seeing more this week for our Kimberbellas and Fellas Facebook group for our “Trick or Treat” contest! Click below to find out how to enter!

*Watch for a Facebook Message to have your images featured on our blog!*

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Broomhilda Contests! We loved seeing your amazing quilts as they have come together.

I am making the broomhilda quilt machine embroidery and working on the witch boot with the striped chenille sock. The directions and the stitch file do not stitch out separate sections for the orange fabric and black fabric which make up the stripes on the sock. It just stitches out the perimeter of the sock. what am I doing wrong?
