We Whisk You a Merry Christmas

Welcome to our cozy kitchen, where soft, spicy gingerbread bakes in the oven, Christmas carols play, and warm cookies await a final dusting of sugar! ‘Tis the season of joy, and Kimberbell has whipped up a new feature quilt that beautifully captures the nostalgia of a holiday kitchen. We Whisk You a Merry Christmas features delightful designs and seasonal sayings in every festive block!

As “sugar and spice make the holidays nice,” each of the thirty embroidered quilt blocks is a tribute to sweet Christmas confections and even sweeter traditions. A cheerful mug of hot cocoa is topped with a dimensional dollop of whipped cream, made from flexible foam interfacing, while marshmallow poms float atop the neighboring cup. The perfectly-iced cupcake is embellished with a button and tastefully displayed behind a clear, vinyl dome.

Two colorful canisters are labeled with blank chalkboard fabric, ready for you to decide what ingredients are inside! We Whisk You a Merry Christmas also includes designer countertop mixers with sparkly, glitter applique; striped peppermint drops; a charming, applique rolling pin; and, of course, a whisk!

A cheerful assortment of aprons feature actual pockets, perfect for holding tiny embellishments. Dress up each apron with coordinating buttons: the stocking, gingerbread man, candy cane, Christmas tree, and bell buttons are deliciously designed to match our Christmas cookies!

Baking Memories Apron

Available in sizes for adults and children, our Christmas apron is “kneaded” by every holiday baker and memory maker! Stitch the darling applique tree, then decorate with our coordinating holiday buttons. A beautifully wrapped present, done in an over-the-edge applique technique, is also a roomy pocket to fill with kitchen tools (or a secret cookie stash)!

We Whisk You a Merry Christmas Tea Towels

Tea towels are jolly décor for kitchens and more! Our “Sugar and Spice” towel features clear vinyl jars with delicious contents of applique glitter. The “Christmas Calories Don’t Count” towel is a welcome reminder for any kitchen—especially when delivered with a plate of fresh gingerbread for a memorable neighbor gift!

Tied With a Bow Pocket Placemat

Gather your family around the table to eat, laugh, and share happy holiday memories! Kimberbell’s Christmas placemat features two pretty packages tied up with ribbons. An over-the-edge applique present is the perfect pocket for holding utensils, while the other gift includes a loop for a festive napkin bow. A merry strip of patchwork adds a touch of cheer to frame your holiday dishes!

Baking memories are the very best memories, especially at Christmastime. From sharing recipes and family stories to giggles and sprinkles and licking the spoon, we celebrate all of the magic, memories, and culinary creations of this most wonderful time of the year as we Whisk You a Merry Christmas!

Is there a complete set of instructions for this quilt? Like the ones in the monthly projects? I’m having difficulty flipping back and forth in the book to find the next step.

I have We Whisk you a Merry Christmas. I have most of the fabric and only too late, am deciding I am not a wall quilt person. Any suggestions for how I can use the fabrics, embellishments Etc. I thought of the rug mugs, pillows, banners, bench buddies. Maybe make placemats and aprons…… I wondered why I was having such issues with the Make Yourself at Home…now i know. I am hooked on your designs. They make me feel happy! Thank you.

Unfortunately, i have misplaced my book. Have the cd (it keeps falling out of the book) but the instructions are not on the cd. What a bummer! I don’t mind buying the entire thing, but it’s really frustrating when the instructions are only printed in the book and not in pdf
      It really is a bummer

Hi Karen, Your CD should have PDF instructions. Contact our customer care team at (435) 915-6741 or email them, [email protected]. They will be able to help you retrieve the file from your CD.

Where can I buy the fabric for this quilt?

    • Lisa November 23, 2019 at 5:00 pm - Reply

Is there a download for the files instead of the cd? Most newer lap stops do not have the ability to use cd’s…

Thank you for your interest in our designs! They are not available for download. Many of us here at Kimberbell have computers without internal disc drives. We use an external disc drive. These can be purchased online, at most retail, or technology stores.

i am having a problem with the embroidery pattern and the sayings using 5X7. The two pieces are in two different sizes and do not match up. Has anyone else had this happen?

Do exist a video to help me easily understand how to use the kit? In fact, just one example about how to do the hooping and appliqué? I’m reading the instructions and feeling a bit confused. Never used the embroidery tool of my machine

I was most disappointed in the scan n cut file. several pieces were placed together as an object which could not be separated to cut individual pieces from different colors. the embroidery files and fabric were ve;ry nice, but I had to trim all the pieces by hand rather than placing the precut pieces. the diferctions were a bit scattered and hard to work with.
the design is delightful and I was able to complete the quilt quilckly but more attentionn to details in producing the pattern would have produced a more satisfactory product.
