The machine embroidery event where you can have your cake and stitch it too!  In this 2-day event, you will create six incredible projects each designed to inspire you to get cooking…or baking…or even just making your Kitchen decor a little bit sweeter.  If you haven’t been able to attend this event yet, please check our event schedule HERE and locate a Kimberbell Certified Shop in your area.  More events are being added daily!  At Kimberbell events, you will improve your embroidery skills and learn new techniques while trying a variety of machine embroidery products.

What projects will  I make?

Let us show you!! Projects include: Vintage mixer applique apron, dishtowel holder with tea towel, bread basket, chenille hot pad, and recipe book cover.  You will receive a Kimberbell project bag and fabric kits with all the Kimberbellishments, plus step-by-step instructions and project CD.  Most importantly…you will have a blast and be inspired by friends who love machine embroidery like you!

Let’s take a look at the projects you will be making….

Vintage Mixer Applique Apron – Teal mixer is appliquéd on a white apron with a sweet stitched sentiment.

Chenille Frosted Layer Cake Hot Pad – Hot pad is pieced and quilted in the hoop.  A fancy plate, trimmed with decorative stitches, holds the appliqued layers of cake and the fluffy chenille technique creates the icing on the cake!

Cheerful Cherries Dish Towel Holder & “Cherry on Top” Cutwork Tea Towel – The clever construction of this dishtowel holder comes together simply. Crosshatch quilting and buttonhole and sewn in-the-hoop, with wide satin stitches finishing the edges.  Stitch a pie in Kimberbell’s Kitchen.  Tea towel features cutwork details for juicy pie filling and an embroidered cheerful cherry wish.

Lovin’ from my Oven Bread Basket – Embroidered basket with appliquéd heart, crosshatch quilting, satin stitch finished edge, and pillow-know corners.

Sprinkles Recipe Book Cover – This recipe book reminds us that t’s the little things in life that bring happiness.  The cover is fully lined and slips over spiral-bound 3×5 ruled index cards.

I hope patterns for this event will be available sometime. I do not live near any shop that carries or offers classes.

Thank you for your interest in the Kitchen event. To keep the exclusivity of the event for the shops the designs are not available for individual purchase. The event must be attended to receive the designs. If you would like to refer a shop to carry our product or receive certification to host Kimberbell Certified Events you may click here.. New shops are receiving certification several times every year and scheduling new events every day. We hope you can find an event to attend soon. Happy stitching!

Wishing there was something setup for working women like a Friday and a Saturday course. Or maybe and online course that we could pay for and do. I really like the kimberbell kitchen but I’m unable to take a course during the week since I work. Pasco, Wa
